Hi,

I'm currently looking for a way to import various iCal calendars into the DSM Calendar Application. Is there any way to do so?

Best

The is no way to synchronise a published iCal calendar by URL, but you can import the .ics:

okay. But I have no ics file, only those ical files. Is there a work around?
I already check out the options ics and google calendar, both do not work for me

Thank you for the help. I could not find any information about that online. However, how does the calendar sync?

It does not. Importing the ics file only copies the current iCal to your NAS. After which the calendar is then managed/synced via the NAS' CalDAV server... Not iCloud.

but that's not a calendar I manage but need the information from those online calendars. Obviously that's a big downside of DSM

The alternative is to use Synology Calendar for your own calendars, and its web portal will do this, but to have these and calendar subscriptions you will have to use a desktop/mobile calendar application. Both Mac and iOS Calendar applications support subscribing to calendar URLs, without having to add them to an iCloud account.
