Info Introduction of Ubiquiti

First, all info you can read in official pages here or by YT

Ubiquiti is from my point of view same as Synology:
- they care about market(s), that was empty from the complexity point of view
- they have really useful HW, SW, tools for every single groups of user (consumers, SME, enterprises)
- large part of the solutions are expandable (by module expansions), the there is a ROI coverage for all the user groups
- they care about security
- they don't care about official community channels. See that? With one difference for Ubiquiti- Rober Pera (founder, CEO) sent (4M ago) an apologize to community and confirmed a big fail with new forum Front end and bad user experiences

Then way don't connect this two worlds of useful cooperation. I have got it with full satisfaction.

Basic split of Ubiquiti solutions:
1. WiFi ISPs networking, based on airMAX technology
2. UniFi - Gateways, Switching, WiFi APs, Cameras, LED lights and more .... large scale from consumer to enterprise level
3. Network Management Controller for UniFi - end-to-end system of network devices across different locations, all controlled from a single interface
4. UNMS for ISPs - similar as previous controller, but with advanced features for ISPs
5. AmpliFi - this is MESH area (different from UniFi platform)

just one important point to previous Intro videos,
when you have NAS (reason of this forum) you don’t need to purchase UniFi Cloud Key. This appliance is easy covered in better way. By UniFi Controller in your NAS by Docker container. Mentioned in our resource.

Just to note: provided your NAS supports Docker! :)

Checking Docker package and it needs a ‘plus’ or ‘xs’ model, or a huge enterprise class device.
