Is it safe to transfer files using Chrome remote desktop

Hello!
I have a question. I'd like to connect to a remote computer using Chrome remote desktop to retrieve some files and store them and in my archive. I'm aware that Chrome remote desktop enables file transfer, but how safe is it and are there any risks?
I would be grateful for your help!
