Kind of urgent: 4sec reset does not work

Need to soft-reset a NAS system(218+). But after pressing [reset] for 4-6 secs, nothing happens. No beep, not anything.
IP Address changed the NAS, but the local LAN firewall rule was not adjusted: pebkak.

Sounds like it didn't wipe all the was needed. You could try again and see if that helps.

The NAs did not respond at all. But after some searching we found a lot of instances where the button itself is not straight alined with the reset whole. So, after testing we found the angle it did work. So, machine had a soft reset, is reconfigured and working again. Thx
