I recently upgraded my DS418Play to DSM7.

I have 2 seperate questions. WheI have a heap of additional folders (assuming System Folders). E.g. @appconf @USBCopy etc. These never used to show up.... so I am curious if I have done something in the update (have updated Plex in the process too)

On a seperate note - i have noticed that when I use Kodi, in the folders there is a folder called @eadir. I can't delete it and it doesn't show up when I go through the files that are on the NAS.

Would appreciate any assistance you could give me to resolve these issues.

I as well have seen the @eadir folder scan when Kodi updates. Seems like this started appearing either after a DSM 6.x update or an upgrade of Kodi. Haven't done a lot of digging to see where this folder is or what it contains.

Interesting. I don't use SSH connectivity often so would not think to "look" there. I do wonder what is now causing Kodi to scan it.

You see the same info w/Plex when mapping libraries...

Disregard the "@" folders and point your library to the shared folder containing your media.

For transcoded/compressed 4k playback via Firestick, you are probably correct. But it does not handle full...
