Things that changed since yesterday. The file's build date in the archive site probably doesn't match the date in its release notes. The list has the newest item and seems to be the version for DSM 7 now, but there will probably be one for DSM 6 so check the linked release notes for its version number. Also, some of these updates have probably been rolled into DSM 7.0.1.

DSM 7.0.1-42218 is updated on October 21 to fix issues with SMB Service 4.10.18-0316. Users who have already installed this version of DSM are recommended to update SMB Service in Package Center.

Though it doesn't read like it, I think it is saying that the re-released DSM 7.0.1-42218 incorporates fixes included in SMB Service 4.10.18-0316, not 'to fix issues with' but 'to include fixes in'. If you updated DSM to 7.0.1 using the earlier updater then just update SMB separately.
