Don't know what's changed but I can't view my photos in Synology Photos - except I can.
User logs into DSM as usual, selects Synology Photos from shortcut icon. Arrives at usual SP page (showing timeline view) and can see big thumbnails of all photos. Clicking a thumbnail to see a full size image gets an alert along the lines of "not authorised" and then is taken back to the DSM login page.
I'd assumed this may have been due to my accessing SP using a macOS Web App (save to Dock for those who know what I mean). But that's a red herring as the same happens when using the 'official' login method.
Or maybe my Secure Signin via the app is messing about? It claims the request is coming from an IP in a different city from usual, different from the reported fixed IP the request is being generated from. But going back to a username/password login seems to get the same result.
And then, what do you know. As I type this, go through the process to report it correctly here, suddenly all is well and I can fully access the images.
I'll see what happens but meanwhile what can I be double checking to prevent this?
Thanks.
