Hi
Background.
I run Ubuntu on my PC and recently had to do a complete from USB reinstall as the online upgrade failed and the PC would not boot.
So, latest Ubuntu installed, reconnected to my Synology NAS, Drive station installed (from command line as the Ubuntu App Store does not list any Synology Apps ? ), drive Station is working ok.
Now the Problem.
On my previous (pre-failed upgrade) Ubuntu i had a folder synced with my NAS (think this dated from 'cloud sync' or whatever it was called) that contained a couple of sub folders with files in each. These folders and files do not now show in Drive Station, using File Station I've looked for them without success. I always knew there was something odd going on with that synced folder as though It was on my PC I could not find it on my Tablet - never dug into that problem now wish i had
Has anyone any idea how i might find the files, i tried the search box in File Station, no result but wondered if i had used it as well as possible, is there a better way of searching (SWC is part of the file names)
I do use Hyper backup, maybe the files would be stored there ?
Any help gratefully received
Graham

Looked everywhere possible i think, no luck though.
I'm thinking that the folder I was putting my files in was at one time synced but that when Drive replaced Cloudsync (or whatever it was called) that that folder became orphaned and was not actually syncing with anything so my files will not be within my NAS and are lost.
Other than a slim chance a file recovery app would find them, there gone :(

Cloudsync (or whatever it was called)
Cloud Station was replaced by Synology Drive. CloudSync is still very much a supported package in DSM 7: it syncs public cloud storage to a folder on the NAS, e.g. Dropbox.
