We cannot access our DS for the following reasons
1. System Administrator moved mobile devices and did not add the synology devices for 2FA
2. He changed the DNS IP of the DS and hence we cannot receive the verification code by email.

We can ping and access the DS

How can we access the DS in this situation and/or change the DNS to the correct IP . we cannot afford to lose any data on the DS

Appreciate all your help as this is critical

Can your normal user accounts still access their data? The administrator’s account shouldn’t stop others from continuing to have access.

Do you have a second account with administrator access?

If you cannot find your SysAdmin’s old phone, or restore another one from its backup, you may have to resort to DSM reset which will restore authentication and network settings to default.

I would be cautious responding to this thread, as it seems that the "OP" is attempting to circumvent changes imposed by their "System Administrator". The initial post is quite unclear. AFAIK, we're not about hacking unit security/theft.
