DSM 7.1 Maximum number of files Synology Drive can sync?

I've seen various older threads about DSM 6.x where the limit was between 1,000,000 and 100,000 files that could be sync'd using Synology Drive. That was quite limiting. Does anyone know if that number has increased for DSM 7.2.x versions, and if so, what is the new limit?
 
I found this. Interesting as it seems many modern synology boxes should be able to sync 1-5million files:

Got a response from Synology support, the .xz file is a Linux compressed format. Use 7zip to uncompress it.
