Migrate from ext4 to btrfs with two diskstaions but no new disks

Hello,
I've a DS218 with two disks (RAID1) and a new DS220+.
What I want is to migrate to btrfs with no data loose and no new disks, is it possible?

Process I thought:
1) Remove disk1 from old NAS
2) Insert disk1 to new NAS
3) Start DSM from scratch formating all data.
4) Create a new volume RAID 1 using btrfs only having 1 disk ¿is it possible in this moment?
5) Import configuration from old NAS
6) Copy data from old NAS to new NAS using LAN
7) Remove disk2 from old NAS
8) Insert disk2 to new NAS and resync RAID1 data
9) Take a beer and enjoy

Can anybody confirm?

Thanks.

Process I run:

  1. Remove disk1 from old NAS.
  2. Insert disk1 to new NAS.
  3. Booted new NAS and click on "migrate".
  4. Then I performed a factory reset at Control Panel > Update & Restore > System Reset > Erease All Data.
  5. On next boot I could setup NAS from scratch.
  6. Once I entered DSM I created new volume (SHR) and I had the option to select btrfs.
  7. Then I restored DSM settings using cloud saved settings.
  8. Finally I copied files from old NAS to new NAS using rsync: Shared Folder Sync | DSM - Synology Knowledge Center
NOTE: Disable SSH transfer encryption, transfer compression and block-level synchronization to get best network copy transfer rates. I got around 8h to copy 2,3TB using 1000Mbps uplink.
  9. During rsync I got time to install packages (synology and 3rd party), as suggested I needed to setup each of them from scratch.
  10. To restore applications data (e.g.: Note Station) y created a new job using HyperBackup settings new NAS as destination. Then I can restore it from HyperBackup installed on new NAS.
  11. At this moment I powered off old NAS and attached disk2 to new NAS.
  12. Opened Storage Manager and removed disk2 pool.
  13. Finally I added disk2 to current Storage Pool.
  14. As a final step I changed IP address of my new NAS to desired one, and took a beer :)
