Hey everyone,
I’ve been running my DS220+ with SHR configured in RAID1. Recently, I transferred the drives to a DS1823xs+, and to my surprise, the migration went smoothly with both disks being detected without any issues.
However, I’ve realised that the DS1823xs+ doesn’t support creating new SHR volumes. I’m considering converting from SHR to RAID5 for better compatibility and to utilise the capabilities of my new NAS. Has anyone here gone through a similar situation? I’d prefer not to start over by destroying the current storage pool. Any advice or experiences shared would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your insights!
