So currently now I have 2 synology NAS devices, a 918+ and a 218+. I am decommissioning the 218+ and just purchased a DX1517 to expand my 918+. On my 918+, I run my radarr/sonarr/sabnzbd and host my Plex movies. On my 218+ i host a second instance of plex just for my music, as well as TimeMachine backup for my Macbook. Can I just take out the 2 drives in the 218+ that are currently just running JBOD, and put them in the DX and have that be a second volume on my 918+ or do i need to back up those drives, start from scratch with a new Volume on the 1517 and copy the data back?
