A very nice quick free photo editor. This is my daily go to photo app in the dock on my iPad, not Apple's photo. Not sure why free!
I use it a lot for quick crops, resizing, orientation, adding text, blurring and much more.
I don't use it for serious photo editing, like light adjustments, although it can.
I find the histogram very useful for a quick overview.

A nice free calculator.
I like how fast it comes up. Useful for the iPad since a calculator app is not included, also works on the iPhone.

Not a free calculator but I use pCalc on iOS and Mac.

Like that I can create my own layouts so that I have the basic functions I need (e.g. all the Mem buttons in 1st and 2nd Fn, +/-, 1/x, power and root N as 2nd Fn, and not the %) in portrait. Enough to do quick calcs in the day job.

Then programming layout in landscape for when I never need to remember about SOH CAH TOA (that took some digging out) but do sometimes need dec/hex/bin conversion.

Can't beat a good old chunky desk calculator though...

I calculate that I have 1 desk 😂 (sorry that was an awful pun)

pCalc is well know.
Yep and took a long time before I stumped up the cash for it. One thing is has done is to stop me downloading even more calculator apps to see how they stack up against others and when the adverts kick in.

You’re my kind of guy @fredbert :)

Do you know about Debookee or a similar solution? I didn’t try it. I’m worried that if I try it and it works, I’ll end up burning my routers, cutting the cord and moving to the cave immediately.

I use their LanScan Mac app and I like it.
