DS412+
Hi All,

My DS412+ can't power on (No light at all in NAS). After I took out all hard disks also same.

What i found out as below.

-Before pressing the power on, network port has green light but when i press the power on from NAS, network port green light also gone.

- After that I unplug the backplane card, it can power on.

May I know it is my backplane card faulty or any other?

Thank you.

I open the box because NAS can't access and not able to power on. What I have done as below.
- I also check the power adapter and it showing green light on adapter so I believe power adapter is good.
- Next, I take out all my HDD and try to power. Still can't power on. I notice that after unplug and plug the power cable, network port have green light. But when I press the NAS power on button, network port green light is go off .
- Next, I took out the squares and take out the back plane card. After that I able to power on the NAS.
It showing blue light on NAS box and yellow light in status light(no back plane card and no HDD in the slot).

Thank you.

Guess in that case, you won't have anything else to do but upgrade to a newer model or get a replacement part.
Noted and thanks for advice.

Anyway to recover my data? I have try "DiskStation Manager - Knowledge Base | Synology Inc." but not successful. Below are the step that i do.
