Hello. I am looking to replace my old DS213j. General home usage - working file storage, photos, videos, music. Looking for recommendations.

I am considering a DS220j or DS220+. Quite a big difference in price. Do I really the DS220+?
I want to future proof as will keep for some time. I bought my existing DS213j in 2014.

Would suggest to got for 220+ as a future proof mode if you can afford it. It will also be beneficial as it’s more beefy then the J model and it will open certain doors the J model just can’t handle.

Better to have a stronges nas possible in case you need it then to save some cash now. Nas is a long term investment and in this particular case, j vs +, it’s not even worth comparing those two.
