Need advice NAS acquisition advice for Svenpa: home, 1000 EUR

Additional information:
Looking for a setup that can deliver speedy browsing of photos (and some videos) to iOS and Android mobile devices through the Synology Photos app or other similar app. I'm hoping for snappy browsing and viewing among several thousands of photos in hundreds of folders as its primary use. Uploading and downloading as well from the devices.

Been looking at either DS220+ or DS720+ if the latter with SSD caching will make a noticeable improvement. Other suggestions welcome. Will probably use 2x 8TB Seagate Ironwolf or WD Red + 1 TB m.2 Samsung 970 Evo+ NVME SSD. Ram upgrade if necessary too.

My home internet is at 250/250 mbit. LAN at 1gigabit, wired.

I don't expect more than 4-5 people accessing this at the same time.

720 for sure. If nothing else it has a quad core cpu that will come in handy. 220 is also a great device but if you can go for 720 even if you will not expand with more bays.
