Any preferred network connectivity? 2.5G

Where will this NAS be used: LAN and over the Internet

Any special network requirements: LAG

Special cloud provider connectivity: Synology C2
 
Hi, welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately there is no Synology DS 2-bay NAS with 2.5GbE. Also, SHR-2 can't be supported by a 2 drive storage pool due to SHR-2 needing 2 drives for redundancy and that leaves you no drives for data.

For LAG you'll need two ethernet ports so here at least we something we can focus on. For the web and photo usage with LAG you would be looking at the DS220+. It has two 1GbE which support LAG and will be better for using feature in Synology Photos.
