So my DS220+ just seems to always be active even when there is no activity on my part like backing up Photos etc... The HD's are pretty loud. Only thing I use it for is to back up my media from my iPhone using Photo Mobile app and I use Synology Drive on a PC which even when powered down the NAS seems to keep running. Anyone know why?
I did set up schedule to shut down the NAS from Midnight to 6am.
