Network lost during the repair process.

my DS1812+ is full (8 drives), so i've tried to expand the volume capacity,
I've removed the smallest drive and replaced by a 14 To drive.
During the repair process (at 27% parity check) the network connection has been lost.

I can't acces DSM anymore, so i've no way to know if the system has crashed or if the reparing process goes on.
Right now, the network led is still blinking and only the led from the new drive is on.

I'm kind of worried to reboot the system during this process.
should i wait 4/5 days ( it's the usual time for reparing my volume) before rebooting?

If it's only a network connection that lost connection then I would advise you to leave it and not reboot it. A bit strange that a + model would not be able to handle rebuild and network access at the same time, but again, leave it for a few days.

I couldn't hear any drive activity noise so i've rebooted the nas.
It has restarted the parity check process from scratch and this time every thing went fine.

It Should go without saying, but make sure you have backups of your data.
