Recently had issues with my Netgear Rack 50 so I swapped it out for my providers Arris NVG468MQ which at this point is working fine, However, I can't figure out how to forward certain ports. I currently have my DSM ports which I changed from the defaults. I can access my email and dsm from my cell along with the photo's app and plex. Will attach image below.

Here's my question, I use DDNS to do 4this and have port 80 in my nas firewall. do I need to put it in port forward on the router or not?

Also, if anyone has this router, is there a way to reserve, "assign," a port so the router can't reassign it. The rax50 had a spot for it. Thanks Everyone!!!!

However, I can't figure out how to forward certain ports.
Use the Select device or manually add fields to get the IP address of the NAS, skip public row.

Set the name of the "application", and set the global port range. For a single port just enter the same value in both boxes, and then the local port in the local base port text box.

That should do it

Thanks again Rusty. Now I only have to fix my network issue. Not related to this. When my PC starts up in the morning, the lan is connected but then goes out and turns on wireless. When it happens, I can still do a loop ping on the card and it's active. Sent for a cat cable tester but remain doubtful as I've swapped them out Been trying to find it for over a month. Thought it was related to a windoze update.

I do too, but the Nertgear was doing it also, hence the swap. Just swapped to the isp's to see what happens to test things.
