Hi,

basic question: does NFS respect any permissions that I've set up using some Active Directory groups?
My Synology is part of Synology Directory Server. As such, I'm using shared folders and grant access to them, using AD groups.

Not by default obviously but yes you can make it do so. I've never done it but I believe that you do it via mapping UID/GIDS.
I saw this answer coming. Obviously messing around with UID/GIDs is not my first choice, hence I will drop my ideas for using NFS prior or parallel to SMB.

Thanks!

Right understood. The PHP file will be executed by the web host itself so by the http user I guess.
