No notification option in Download station

I have a strange issue with the Download station (version 3.8.16-3566) on DS720+ and VDSM on the same NAS. There is no notification option:

But even more strange is that on DS418play I have this option (same Download Station version):

I can't figure out what is it. Is anyone else seeing something similar?

On vDSM my notifications settings in dload station are like your first screenshot.
I don’t want any notifications, so I never bothered.

Checked dload station on DSM on another DiskStation. It’s like your second screenshot.
So it seems that vDSM will always look like the first screenshot. DSM like the second screenshot.

On DS1520+ with 'normal' DSM 6 and DS: it looks like your first screenshot. But I've stopped using it and even then it was only for podcast feeds as a trial. Maybe there are notifications that are added when they are needed?

Yes, but it is also on my DSM on 720+ (not only vDSM).

Yes, it's nothing urgent, just curious. And sometimes it could be useful.

Not sure. I have it on DS418play.


Oh, and I've updated my vDSM to version 7 and there is no option for notification, just like the first screenshot.
