Hi,

I'll start by saying, my understanding of networking is very limited so I apologize if I'm asking an obvious question. I'll try to provide as much detail as possible but if you need something more, please let me know.

Here's the situation. I have Radarr & Sonarr running in docker/container manager (DSM 7.2.1-69057 Update 3) on the Host network. I have Petio also running in docker but on its own network created by docker compose. I am using synology's built in reverse proxy to enable access to these externally. Each of these packages is able to be accessed externally without issue. When I try to configure the Radarr & Sonarr connections within Petio, the connection fails. I tried with both the local IP address as well as the reverse proxy address. Both fail. The petio logs give no meaningful information, just a basic ECONNRESET error. Interestingly, this problem only started about 6-8 weeks ago with no change to my configuration.

I took a number of troubleshooting steps including disabling the synology firewall as well as my local network hardware firewall. The problem persisted so I re-enabled both firewalls.

I have a VPN network interface configured for NordVPN and my order is the VPN and then local LAN port. My advanced settings on the DNS server are set with the following options:

As soon as I disconnected the NordVPN interface, the connectivity between Petio & the Radarr/Sonarr services worked without issue. I don't know if it matters but my static routes are all updates according to this set of instructions.

I'm at a complete loss here. Can anyone help me?
