I keep getting an Error in my logs

SYSTEM
Failed to send email. (Error: Server Response Code: 401).

I have set up my Email in Control Panel and sent a test message. The test works. Do I also need to set up a location in Log Center/Log Sending? The option is to send to a Syslog server. Not sure what that is. Or how to set it up.
