Open up communication with IFTTT

Can anyone help me with instructions on how to open up communication from IFTTT to my Synology NAS (Surveillance station)? The reason for this is that the Geo Fence function to enable / disable Home Mode in the surveillance station is not working satisfactorily and therefore I want to use IFTTT instead of activating / deactivating Home Mode.
