DSM 7.1 Open vpn not connecting anymore

Hello all,

Since 2 days the windows open vpn clients do not connect to the syno anymore, all kinds of deprecated messages appearing in the connect log (client) one of them is How To Guide: Set Up & Configure OpenVPN Client/server VPN | OpenVPN this one

Anyone who knows what is going on?

I had an issue where tun had gone wrong.
Do you have the logs?

Host is unknown... Seems like the issue is resolving the IP/FQDN from the client side. Would start there.

Strange is L2TP works fine from here, OVPN refuses to work while it worked a few days ago

Guessing you tried to reboot the VPN server package?

Yes, several times; also dis and reconnected QC as sometimes this works

Update: ISP changed IP address and other issues on the router, problem solved.
