Photos Alternatives?

Are there any alternatives to Synology Photos? Nothing wrong with photos, just wondering if there are other options out there that may work better?

A few open-source options were mentioned here on the forum that run via docker ofc. One example would be Piwigo.

I'm looking at mylio.com. Unfortunately, mylio do not support Synology/Docker so you will have to keep a pc/mac running. my preference is Photos but it takes forever to build previews.
