Photos not showing in shared space

First off - sorry that this must be the biggest noob problem going! Been looking at videos, help guides but I'm pulling my hair out. So thanks in advance for any help!

I cannot get photos to show in a shared space for a user despite having given them Viewer, Uploader and Downloader permissions. When I give them full access the pictures show up for them - but I don't want to do this as I don't want them to be able to mess anything up too much!

you will have to relog in to DSM with there password log in details. You as admin cannot see there photos via your account.......pain I know

Here is more info to help you :-

When you are logged into Synology Photos with another user account it is expected behaviour to not be able to see another users "Personal Space" (/homes/username/Photos) regardless of your access level.


If you wish for both users to be able to see the same images these would have to be stored in the "Shared Space" which is the /photo folder.
