Hi
I spent some time getting all my photos moved from both the Apple/Google world into Synology Photos, and I'm quite happy so far ..
Now I'm about to set up some cloud backup for my new mega-collection, looks like Hyper Backup is the way to go
Just one question regarding this: I spent a lot of time correcting dates on heaps of pictures/videos, so they now show up correctly on the timeline in Photos.
In case my NAS should die on me, I should then be able to restore from a Hyper Backup to an empty Synology Photos on a new system.
Allegedly all settings, face recognition data, pics and videos should then be restored, so my question is: Are all these manually edited dates of pictures/videos gonna be the same after restoring, or can I risk that they go back to their original dates, which would of course not be very desirable? Has anyone tried this?
Thanx in advance, people
