I run a phpBB forum on my NAS via WebStation and a couple of days ago switched from using PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.0, no problems operationally in that. Since it has been running so well I decided to look at uninstalling PHP 7.4.
Alas here is where I hit an issue. The NAS reports that PhpMyAdmin is dependent on PHP 7.4 (not PHP 8.0), so it looks like I'm stuck with having both PHP versions running. I've looked at all the settings within WebStation etc and can't see any why of changing this. It looks to be a package dependency setting set by Synology.
Am I right here or am I missing the obvious somewhere?

The following PHP code appears to work as needed: exec('/usr/syno/bin/synoindex -R video'); Ron
