Hey there guys, just installed MyPhpAdmin following a youtube tutorial in order to host a wordpress site on my NAS.
Thing is when I try to open MyphpAdmin App I get this error:

I was getting thi seror other time when I was trying to access a photo and I was using .JPG instaed .jpg
similar to this, if I browse my folders on /web I cant find any phpmyadmin folder...
Anyone able to help please?

PhpMyAdmin does not need a special guide. Installation from package center is straightforward and use from webstation is more than easy.
Maybe the guide misses something?
Or, maybe, any firewall rule issues?

If in doubt, uninstall what you did already and install wordpress from package center. It will also install any package dependancies, including proper installation of PhpMyAdmin.

I will try reinstall phpmyadmin and see if there is any firewall issues... (I want to install wordpress from their site and not the automated one from synology)(the guy at tutorials suggests it because it is easier to change things up later if I need to.

thanks a lot for your help mate

OK, but testing a proven method initially, as @dimfil suggested, could be helpful.
the guy at tutorials suggests it

There are many, poor, outdated “tutorials” out there… If you skate far from SpaceRex or Wundertech, you may mind yourself on thin ice.

yes but I have to watch some tutorials in order to do some things... most of the things I was able to do was because of these tutorials tbh...
regarding the issue, I installed wordpress from package installer and i get msg

regarding webstation configuration I was wondering if I should assign a specific port for Wordpress and phpmyadmin...
maybe this is the problem??

Are you sure about your firewall rules? Have you tried deactivating firewall?

You do not need to assign anything, all are part of the installation process.
By just clicking on the link icon you should be entering the relative service (wordpress or phpmyadmin).

I don't know if it is allowed by the rules but if you give us a link of the guide you followed maybe we could help more.

I understand that you want to install Wordpress directly by the zip file from them to maintain it updated probably.
I was in the same position myself, and the solution is easy via WebStation. If you are interested I could write the steps down for you. All guides I found out there were a little bit outdated or some things were changed in the meantime.
I now run 6 different installations of Wordpress in my web folder.

I would love if you could give me the steps... Regarding tutorial its Spacerex's tutorial
do not know if the problem is from this tutorials because I have made other changes too before this tutorial..
I have tried with firewalls deactivated but is the same...

Yes, I have watched this tutorial too. Specerex is always a great source for everything.
More or less these are the same steps I used with some differences in PHP and Apache versions, also the Web Station gui is a little bit different maybe but not a real issue, and finally some more extensions and changes in the profile. Also a slightly different approach in creating user/database for wordpress and some changes in wp-config.php but up to here nothing real different that has to do with the issue you are facing.
BUT, I did not mess with DNS etc. Since it is just testing installations that I use for wordpress creating projects (later on I migrate what I want to hosting services) it was fine and enough for me to use synology.me which I had already prepared for certificate too.
Maybe your issue is somewhere there. Did you change anything regarding domain and DNS? If yes, take the time to recreate everything just on synology.me domain and check if it is working as it should.
