Powering Off

If I wish to power my nas down for a few days, what are the pro & cons of each method

A) Go into DSM, login to Admin, Shut down Nas, then turn off UPS

B) Turn the power off to the UPS.

I would opt for A.

If less that a week from now you can schedule the power off in Control Panel so you then only have to remember to power off the UPS. Obvs. remember to disable the schedule later when you don't want it to power off.

I hadn't thought about a scheduled power off, great idea.
