Problem accessing Kali Docker container

Hoping someone can help me out.
I have a few docker containers running. All are accessible with the exception of my Kali container.
1) Installed the rolling Kali docker container
2) Assigned ports (2223/2223) for access via SSH
3) verified port is open via Nmap
4) attempted to SSH via Putty to container
5) Remote side unexpectedly closed the connection

Any help is appreciated.
