Problem moving to DSM 7 with Logitech Media Server

I'm trying to move to DSM 7 from 6.2.4 and I get a warning about incomaptible packages and Logitech Media Server is listed and I can't proceed. I used to run LMS as a community package but now I run it under Docker. I thought that the reason to move LMS to Docker was to isolate it from DSM. I don't have LMS listed anywhere in Pacakge Center although I do have an icon for it on the Main Menu - but that doesn't lead anywhere.

Is my understanding of Docker correct? If so, how do I persuade DSM that the package is no longer installed and so let the upgrade proceed?

The LMS shortcut on the DSM 'desktop' could be from one of two ways: remnant of old installation of LMS package; from Docker.

In DSM a package or Control Panel main item can be dragged onto the desktop, or created by ctrl/right clicking:

From Docker, created by ctrl/right clicking a container (or I'm sure there used to be an option is the container, but cannot find it now):

To remove either of these shortcuts you just have to ctrl/right click it and use the pop-up option:

In addition to @fredbert 's remark... if you had LMS installed previously (not Docker), you may have artifacts present.

SSH in and look for folders under "/volumeX" such as "@LMS" or @logitech_blablabla" (anything that appears LMS related)... and delete (or rename, if you are uncertain) those.

Also, check under folder "/volumeX/@appstore" for artifacts.

Thanks fo rthe quick reply. I have removed the shortcut with a left click, no problem.
I don't have the option to add a shortcut from Docker, although it used to be there - hence the shortcuts I have.

However, that's not a major issue at the moment as I am trying to upgarde to DSM 7 and the upgrade process won't continue.

Thanks for that. I've had a good look round and can't see anything that looks remotely likely.

Ah! Thanks. That gave me the clue I needed. I was looking for directories called Logitech or LMS, not Squeeze* I found one called SqueezeCenter under @appstore. The logs in it dated back to early 2021 so it wasn't the current set up. I renamed it to SqueezeCenter.old and then got an error form Package Center and an invitation to uninstall LMS. Very odd as I couldn't find see it. Maybe my eyes need testing but search didn't show it either.

Thanks everyone for you help. DSM upgrade now running - fingers crossed!
