A few days ago overnight I lost wireless access from my two laptops to my Synology.
My Synology DS411 is cabled to a switch which is cabled to my WiFi router which again is cabled to one of my 3 Strong Extender 1600.
Ever since I installed the Strong Extender mesh network I have used the common Strong Extender SSID for accessing the internet as well as the Synology. Within the last few days I have only been able to access my Synology wireless from a laptop if I use the SSID of the WiFi router which again demands that the laptop is not in too far distance from the router.
If I use one of my Synology apps on either my Android phone or my iPad - or I use the Chrome browser on the iPad - I have no problem connecting to my Synology through the Strong Extender SSID.
I have not made any changes to any of the laptops. So how come this new connecting challenge?
Having tried with both Firefox, Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
