DSM 7.0 Public holidays on Calendar

Noticed that there is no option to enable public holiday calendars.
Would be possible to import from a calendar file or add one by a link?

I am from Canada. I wish synology could add the this feature in the next release. Shouldn’t be difficult.

I googled 'canada holiday ics' and found this site Add Canada’s 2021 holidays to your calendar — Canada Holidays

A pain that subscribing to a calendar URL isn't supported. The alternative is to subscribe to these in all your calendar clients.

Thanks, I am able to import the ics file to my calendar. It is only for 2021, which means I need to do it every year. If I iimport the ics for the next year, I assume that the calendar for this year will be overwriten unless I give a different name.

Another found. On the drop down meanu, there is no hide/show feature for each calendar. (see the screenshot below). Wish Syonology could add it in the next release.

Can't say for specifically for Synology, but ICS filename is not an identifier on my calendars... But only a means to import. There is no over-writing unless the new file contains changes to existing dates.

Same goes for *.vcf files for contacts.

I support this! It would be so helpful to be able to import public holiday calendars or add them by link. As it is, I have to keep track of all the different public holidays manually, and it's a huge pain. Unfortunately, I'm desperate that I would do it manually minimum this year. I even imagine myself soon downloading december 2022 calendar blank to print it and mark up all the holidays. Is there anyone sharing this problem? I would highly appreciate any input you could provide. Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed. Cheers!
