I lucked out, my 718+ & 720+ All use same external supplies. Found a replacement supply on EBay who’s specs slightly exceeded 720+ supply requirements.. and had correct power connector for either NAS.
Bought and placed on (then 2-3 month old) “experimental 720+”. That was 2 years ago.
Synology supply sits on shelf as a spare for both 718+ or either 720+
