[RESOLVED] HELP. Locked out due to firewall settings, did soft boot but can't connect

[RESOLVED] Need help badly. Was learning about certificates, reverse proxy etc., was playing with firewall settings and I locked myself out of my DS418play.

Did the 4 second soft boot, heard the beep. I plugged my Linux laptop directly into the port, Downloaded and installed Synology Assistant. Synology Assistant can't find the NAS. Laptop using the wired network. Tried different cables.

It seems like a simple process but not working. Willing to pay a $100 CDN bounty for a fix, not a re-install.
