Been in bag of pain with Linksys MX 4200 Belop mesh network…HomeKit compatible, but not really. Of shored software with gaps and patches and holes every which way.

Anyway, they had me switch from the 192.168.1,2 over to the 10.10.20.1 IP range as part of the experimental fix.

Here is the stupid part.. lost access to the synology network. In theory I should be able to simply use the new IP and same port number yet no matter what I try it isn’t working. I also switched ethernet ports with the cable as it appeared one would give 192 while the other 10.10.

Anyway, short of resets etc how can I get back to the server on the new ip range?

If your Synology device was configured with a static IP address and you know it, then use a single device and configure it in the same network subnet. Then connect them directly and access the UI. Make the changes, and go back to your new 10.10.20.0 range.

What Syno device is in question here? A router or a NAS?

Here to delete however time expired. Admin - ok to delete.

Wanted to access without resetting. Resetting with paper lip worked.

I ended up doing an admin reset. Note need to put things back in place,

Router had to change from 192 to 10, so lost access. All ok now and wish I saw your post before doing the reset.
