Hello,
I try to configure a NAS for External Access wth that tutorial:
Configuring a NAS for External Access
I have in my router enabled UPnP.
But I get error while trying to "set up router". The error happens when "checking network environment" (please find enclosed screenshot).
It says that I could try to set the router to Bridge Mode. But actually I tried that, but I get only headache with that Bridge Mode. In that mode I couldn't even connect to my NAS and router both. It was ended on "hard reset" of my router.
There is also advice to consult issue with internet service provider. But I am not even sure what to ask them.
Maybe someone of you could help me in some way. I would be very appreciate.
My router is Technicolor CGA2121.
I know there is easy to setup QuickConnect option, but the guy on movie claims his method is more elastic and more friendly for future changes.
Due to fact that in the future I am going to run VPN services or use my NAS as a server to testing my javascript websites I feel (not fully understand but I feel it ) that his solution would be better for me.
For any help great thanks in advance.
Best Regards
