Separate Package traffic across two lan connections

Separate Package traffic across two lan connections

Hi All,

Have a DS418 with t wo LAN connections. I believe it is possible to direct specific package traffic to a specifc lan port.

I can seem only to achive this by changing the service order., and not by selecting via the traffic control option.

My router is setup to send date from LAN 2 over a vpn connection - LAN 1 goes over ISP assigned public IP address.

I only want one application to go over LAN 2 from the NAS - everything else to go over LAN 1.

I have tried this by not allowing specifc package allowing traffic over LAN 1, but when I change the service order to have LAN 1, then the public IP changes to that of assigned to LAN 1.

Any help greatly appreciated.
