SFTP root access to DSM system files

Hello i have a question, i bought a new synology ds223j and i would like to access it as root user via sftp - filezilla, directly to edit some language files in the /etc and /root folders.

How to access the language files and where are they stored? And how to sftp as root to the system files?

Connect as standard user and then elevate to root by using the: sudo -i command and repeat the default user’s password

Okay thanks, but i can only Edit Files via SSH, and not access and see Files in filezilla?

WinSCP (only Windows) with scp protocol using RSA key pairs, then you can Edit files in /root
Note: setup access with RSA key first
