To ensure synced client access after setting up QuickConnect:
  • For DSM 7.0 and above: Go to Control Panel > External Access > QuickConnect, click Advanced Settings > Permission, and tick to enable Synology Drive Server.
  • For DSM 6.2 and earlier: Go to Control Panel > QuickConnect > Advanced > Permission, and tick to enable Synology Drive Server.

This looks like the first step. Connecting the client with the NAS server. There are several elements here that need to addressed. Considering you have confirmed that the PC in question can reach the NAS via the web is half of the job done. The Drive client uses TCP 6690 for the actual backup, but it will also use the default DSM ports (or changed) as well as any port that is configured via reverse proxy (if that is the case here).

First, check if your PC client side is blocking anything on its internal firewall. From the image this looks like a Windows OS (challenge of its own), so test if lowering the firewall will allow the PC to authenticate.

Another reason might be a wrong username and/or password, and finally, the network visibility, but we have established that is not the case as you can access it via the browser.

Try and firewall first.
