One NAS (7.2-2) stopped connecting via QuickConnect tonight....
If I go to my Synology account via internet I see the NAS (720+) and it's Quickconnect ID

If I go to the NAS Control Panel, Remote Access Area, everything is low talley (Light Grey) with nothing entered, an text "loading" at bottom of screen that eventually tells me Domain Name cannot be reached.... I have to Change DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 114.114.114.114 in China and try again..... ?????
I look at DNS and it's set for the IP of Router, as it was before and is on other 2 NAS's...

I checked my Synology account, and try and connect to NAS and it can't says I have to re-enter QC info in NAS....

But NAS Remote access is low talley and blank.... ???

Anybody see this? I've tried a shutdown and it still acts the same way.... ????

OK Fixed! Strange...

Last night during troubleshooting, I ran Security Advisor on NAS that suddenly lost QC.... It prompted that it could not get latest update, so it was using the old settings....
Early this morning realized that both QC and SA needs internet to work...
I could get to NAS via Laptop on LAN.
Checked switch: GB Connection.. Re-seated connection, Still GB.. Not that
Checked TP in Router.... No Events involving IP of NAS....
Checked NAS SA and QC again.... Both still reporting the same as last PM... No QC Connected apps work...

What would cause LAN to be OK but no Internet.... Traffic Control! (I don't think I've been in that for a week), and past few days I've been working with ONVIF camera in SS on this very...

What would cause LAN to be OK but no Internet.... Traffic Control! (I don't think I've been in that for a week), and past few days I've been working with ONVIF camera in SS on this very NAS!

Traffic Control is Blocking this NAS! Un-Block... Run SA No prompts about using old version!
Go into CP External Access..... It automatically sees QC!
Laptop to my Synology Account... Sees and connects to NAS!
All QC APPS now work: DS CAM, DS FILE, DS FINDER, DRIVE

SO IT WAS TRAFFIC CONTROL IN 2600!!

BUT WHY? Checked 2600 further: 2600 Rebooted itself last PM at about 8PM!

Following is a WAG (Wild Ass Guess) as to what happened:
Last night 2600 burped, and in burp set Block on NAS... in Traffic Control.
2600 rebooted normally, but kept the block on NAS....

Is this something to do with Kingston RAM? Dunno! BOTH NAS & 2600 working correctly now!

PS: Nothing in 2600 logs other than me un-blocking NAS and reboot (and Re-connect to external Drive for TP)
PPS: Checked Traffic Control... No other previously un-blocked devices are blocked, and those who were blocked (Security Cameras) remain blocked....
