Hello all,
My Surveillance Station has been working great for over 2 years as of this morning. I got an email that some DSM packages were out of date, so I logged in to see what was new. Ooh! SS v9 is now officially available! I click the Update button and sit back, ready to check out whatever cool new features it has.
A few minutes later it returns the error: Unable to update "Surveillance Station". No problem, I try to update again, and it fails again. I close the update and go to login to my SS v8, which I suddenly discover has been deleted from my DSM!
WTF?!?!
In my troubleshooting, I have restarted the NAS (DS718+) and tried reinstalling SS v9 again through the Package Center. It fails again. I also downloaded the .spk from Synology Download Center for a manual install, and it fails again.
Anyone else have this happen? I went from a fully functioning install to somehow deleting my working SS v8 and seemingly no way to install SS v9.
Help!
