Don't worry, we won't sell this forum to any company, and we do not intend to do so in the distant future. Also, the ‘Community’ is not shutting down. Well, without us knowing.

SynoForum.com will remain free, but support of any kind is of course still welcome (donation, account upgrade, knowledge sharing, resources uploading etc.). More, in a few days this forum is celebrating its 3rd anniversary, and we are preparing some exiting stuff.

Special thanks go to all members that have already donated to keep this forum running and expanding.

Ya'know, the dead give away for me to immediately see trough the April fools joke (next to the fact of the date ) is that larger companies (maybe also mid- and small sized) never usually announce a sale/acquisition/merger like this:

Large firms/corporations (where I've worked for almost 14 years now) never announce something like this to the outside world (not even internally company-wide) untill the deal is absolutely set & signed on paper. You can imagen there are many reasons for this.
