DSM 7.0 Synology Assistant without a laptop

Hi hive mind. My home setup is a laptop and a. Chromebook. Almost everything I do can be done in a browser now. In fact, the only app I need my laptop for is...Synology Assistant, and the only time I use it is to connect my NAS to my LAN.

What alternatives do I have if I no longer have a laptop? Is there anything I could use on my Chromebook or Android phone to search for NAS on my LAN. and connect to it?

For sure via the IP number. Make sure you give the NAS a fixed IP in your router DHCP.
On android there are several synology apps, like DS file. Chromebook can connect via server connection on the IP number.
