Hi all,

Upon starting a docker container via the GUI, the container log file is displayed within the GUI.

If an environment variable is declared stating the log file location (for example, within the volume location), the displayed log in the GUI will be stopped or terminated. The only way to access the log file now is via SSH.

Is there a way to have both the logfile stored locally and displayed within the GUI simultaneously?

Thanks

might be best to use a different UI platform for docker other than syno docker ui. It is really restrictive. Portainer maybe?

Thanks for your replies, but I found the solution: I had to allow port 8083 in the firewall.
