Good Morning,
I have a question regarding the use of multiple (different) backup tasks when using Synology Drive Client (SDC) on my PC and Synology Drive Server on my DS218+. I currently have SDC configured to backup a number of different folders on my PC to my DS220+. I have the backup mode set to continuous. This is working great.
I recently decided to change the backup task to backup (again continuously) a different set of folders to the DS220+. This also worked great. I checked the DS220+ and both sets of folders were indeed on the server.
Now the problem appears.
(1). I would like to be able to backup continuously both sets of folders at the same time. This does not seem possible (is the true or am I doing something wrong)?
(2). Since I can not do (1) above, I decided to "redo" the first backup task since some of the files in the original folder set had changed. While this task also worked, I noticed that all the folders in the original set were completely rebuilt. Is this normal? Is there any way to prevent this complete rebuilding of the folders on the DS220+? If not, this is too time-consuming.
(3). Assuming (1) and (2) are not possible, can you recommend another (program/process) to achieve what I want to do?
Thanks,
Harold
